OnePlus One Finally Gets A Lick At The Lollipop

The OnePlus One is a highly popular smartphone which is famous for its high-end specs and super-low price tag. Now, OnePlus One users can finally enjoy their device running on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop update, although it may just be the stock OS.

Apparently, many countries in the world imposed a ban on Cyanogen so there is no way for the Android 5.0 Lollipop to get pushed out via the platform. As such, the Chinese tech-giant were forced to tweak their own Lollipop OS which also explains the long delay for the update.

The Android 5.0 Lollipop launched to the OnePlus One smartphones earlier today is known to have the same design layout as those on the Nexus 6.

On the downside of things, the Lollipop OS is still in its early build and there are some issues with it. If you are a OnePlus One user and have yet to update your device, you can head down to the manufacturer’s website to claim the update.
