The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was a popular Android back in its day but since its successor took to the scene we haven’t heard much about it. Well it looks like it is about to be thrown back into the spotlight.
We have confirmation that the US Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Android 4.4 KitKat update is rolling out now and first in line are Sprint users. If you are a Sprint user you should be seeing an alert to download the Android 4.4 KitKat update right now. If not, you can try and manually trigger it by check the Settings screen ‘About’ to do a software update check.
It is in fact quite surprising that the US Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is getting the bump up to Android 4.4 KitKat especially since the Samsung Galaxy S3 which was released in the same year isn’t.
