The new Google Pixel & Pixel XL will come in to replace the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P although they are not really the successors for the Nexus devices. So what will happen to the Nexus devices right now?
Well, death is the only way it seems. Google has confirmed that they will not be coming out with any Nexus devices in the future so don’t expect to see any more devices under the Nexus line. That also means that the rumored Huawei Nexus tablets will not happen as well.
To top it all off, Google has also removed the Google Nexus 5X and the Google Nexus 6P from the Google Play Store which means you won’t be able to order one from Google anymore but you can still get it from the retailers if you want to.
As for the new Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL models, they are now up for pre-orders.
