Nokia has been trying to win back the heart of handphones users but their last attempt did not really end too well for them. However, it looks like they are ready to have another go at it this year.
Nokia has not officially announced it yet but Mike Wang, Nokia’s executive in China did hint to ThePaper that we might see three or four new devices from Nokia in the fourth quarter of 2016 but they will probably only be arriving in 2017.
If that is true, it looks like Nokia is planning to come back from the dead. There were rumors saying that the upcoming Nokia smartphones could be running on the Android OS and will become with a Quad HD OLED display. The devices are said to be running on the Snapdragon 820 processor and will be fitted with a 22.6MP rear camera.
Of course, it is best to take this rumor with a pinch of salt for now until we hear from Nokia.
