Nissan Altima Recalls For Same Problem, Third Time’s The Charm

It looks like Nissan just can’t get the issue fix as they will be issuing another recall to fix an issue that they have been trying to solve for two years. This will be the third time the Nissan Altima is going back to get the problem looked at and fix.

Nissan will be issuing a new recall to recall back the 2013 – 2015 Nissan Altima after it was reported that the vehicles might have some issue with the secondary hood latch.

According to Nissan, the secondary hood latch might not fasten when the hood is closed and that if the primary latch is released, the hood could open up mid drive. The recall will affect a total of 846,000 units. Affected models will be those made from the 6th of March 2012 until the 31st od December 2014.

Recalled models will be getting the hood latch replaced. Those previously recalled will also be contacted.
