We’ve already seen bits and pieces of the Nintendo Switch Virtual console and because it seems to be such an important part of the console, the fans assume that we will be getting it when the Nintendo Switch arrives.
However, according to Nintendo, the Virtual Console games will not be available when Nintendo launches the Nintendo Switch next month. They did not say when the Virtual Console will be arriving either. They only said that they will talk more about it in the future.
It is a little disappointing to know that it won’t be coming with the console but at least Nintendo is honest about it. We would rather they take more time to work on it then offer us something incomplete and force us to deal with it until they fix it.
The new Nintendo Switch will be arriving early next month.
