Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX HD vs Samsung Galaxy S4: Verizon Past Favorites

Both the HTC One M8 and the Samsung Galaxy S5 are already out and they are among the bestselling phones on Verizon at the moment. However, not everybody is willing to splurge for these high-end devices.

Instead of looking in envy, consumers can still get great phones for the cheap. There is the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Motorola DROID Razr Maxx HD to choose from.

The Galaxy S4, in particular, is equipped with a 4.99” Super AMOLED display that offers 441ppi. It is powered by a 1.6GHz 8-core processor with 2GB RAM, 13MP rear camera, 2MP front shooter, 2,600mAh battery and the Android 4.4 KitKat.

As for the DROID Razr Maxx HD, its 4.7” Super AMOLED display is able to produce 312ppi. Under the hood, the Razr Maxx HD runs on a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 1GB RAM, 8MP rear camera, 1.3MP front shooter and the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The best part about the Maxx HD is its 3,300mAh battery which can keep the device running for days.

Both smartphones are great in their respective ways. The Motorola DROID Razr Maxx HD cost $164 while the Samsung Galaxy S4 is selling at $425.
