Moto G Review: More Than Just Being Cheap

How good is the Motorola Moto G? Today, we are going to reveal to you the pros and cons of the smartphone. But before we get to that, here are some basic details of the Moto G.

The smartphone was launched at the end of 2013 and it runs on the 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor. This simply powers the 720p 5” screen and there is an 8 (16) GB internal storage on-board. To complete the package, the Moto G has an 8MP rear camera.

Retailing at about $300, the Moto G is truly a cheap device to own. However, the Moto G is not some dodgy smartphone that does not come with quality. We can actually appreciate the colourful and original design of the smartphone and the device also has support for 4G LTE.

The cameras too are quite satisfying to use. It is able to snap images with decent sharpness and colour count. The only downside to this is that the camera loads up a little longer than usual and the images taken are a little lacking in light.

For a mid-tier spec smartphone, the Moto G is truly marvellous. The device is able to operate on the Lollipop OS without any stuttering and we can appreciate the decent battery life of about 9.5hours of non-stop usage.

With that being said, the Moto G can easily be described as the best budget smartphone out there. Heck, it even makes all the $400 and above mid-tier devices look like a joke in the market.
