Back in 2013, Motorola launched the Moto G and it is regarded as one of the best smartphones around. Earlier today, the smartphone manufacturer announced that the Moto G will be updated to the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The Moto G will be joining the second-generation Moto X, the Moto X and other smartphones from Motorola in receiving the update. It is also notified that the Android 5.0 Lollipop will be pushed out via OTA to the flagship devices before being rolled out to the Moto G.
On the downside of things, Motorola failed to clarify on when the update will take place but users can expect it coming before the end of January next year.
The Motorola Moto G is also expected to run perfectly on the Android 5.0 Lollipop. After all, the smartphone manage to meet the OS minimum specs requirement as it runs on the Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM.
