Looking at what the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL has to offer, we all can agree that in terms of hardware, the Lumia 950 XL is as good as any premium smartphone in the market but why are people still avoiding it? Well, it seems like the main issue with the Lumia 950 XL is that it is not a toy.
Here is the thing, Microsoft created smartphones like the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL so that they can close the gap between the PC and smart devices and as amazing as that sounds, that is not what most of the younger smartphones users are looking for.
The younger smartphones users tend to look for smartphones that offer the most interesting and fun new features. They are looking for smartphones that look great and we got to admit that the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL is slightly more matured and boring looking.
Then there is the issue with the app. While most Lumia 950 XL users will tell you right now that the Widows Store is not lacking in apps, the younger users are not buying it. We know that it took them awhile to get apps like Instagram onto the Windows Store and apps like Snapchat is still not on the Windows Store. In fact, we don’t even know if Window users will ever be getting an official Pokemon Go app.
To some, these apps are not important but to the younger generations, not having them is a problem and that could be the reason why Microsoft is still struggling to compete with iOS and Android.
