We do not know what Microsoft has planned for their smartphones right now but based on what they are doing to the Microsoft Lumia 950 and 950 XL, it does feel like Microsoft is about to do something.
It was pointed out that both the Microsoft Lumia 950 and Microsoft Lumia 950 XL were listed as Out of Stock on their online store in the UK. No new stock arrived and it does not seem like Microsoft is planning to restock it anytime soon.
This has lead to the people speculating that Microsoft might be trying to clear out all the Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL stock right now so that they can start offering us a new smartphone.
Of course, nobody knows what the new smartphone would be but there were some that think that we might be getting the long-awaited Microsoft Surface Phone. Microsoft themselves have not said anything about a Surface Phone but the rumor has been going on for some time now.
