Mazda RX-9 Suffers The Buick Avista Demise

Consumers have been begging GM to release a new Buick Avista but GM has made it clear that that is not going to happen. It looks like GM is not the only automaker that is going to disappoint their fans.

Although Mazda has already announced that they are developing a new rotary engine, they never did say that the Mazda RX-9 was going to happen. Fans assumed it would since they are also working on the rotary engine but according to Masaichi Kogai, the CEO of Mazda, they will not be releasing any sports car that is going to be larger than the Mazda MX-5.

It is believed that Mazda can’t find the solution to reduce the fuel emission of the rotary engine and that might be the reason why Mazda has decided not to build the next RX-9.

It looks like the fans can forget about the Mazda RX-9 for now.
