Jeep Renegade, Jeep Cherokee & Chrysler 200 Losing Their Power

FCA issued a new recall to recall some of their models. Those affected by the recall will include the Jeep Renegade, Jeep Cherokee, Ram ProMaster City as well as the Chrysler 200 sedan.

According to FCA, a total of 320,000 vehicles will be affected by the recall. Besides the 2014 Jeep Cherokees, all the other affected models are from the 2015 model year.

It is believed that the wire harness on all these affected models was not crimped properly during manufacturing which might lead to the vehicles losing power. FCA did add that customers can switch off the engine and start it again for now while they work on recalling the affected models.

Those affected by the issue will be getting a wire harness replacing as well as a software update. FCA also added that they are unaware of any injuries or accident that might have been caused by this issue.
