To save cost, Apple have already built their iPhones in China but that might be changing soon after Donal Trump won the US election.
Before winning the election, Trump claim that he will force Apple to build their devices in the US if he wins the election and now that that has happen, will we be seeing Apple moving their iPhone production plant to the US?
According to Nikkei Asian Review, Apple is looking into the possibility of building their iPhones in the US. It is said that Apple has already approach Foxconn and Pegatron. While Foxconn agreed to it, Pegatron did not due to the cost.
If this turns out to be true, the Apple iPhone 7 we have now could be the last Apple iPhone that is built in China. Of course, moving to the US would also affect the retail price of the Apple iPhone.
