iPhone 6 & iOS 8: Improvements Expected But Not All Wanted

It has been said that Apple could make some big changes to the iPhone 6 and iOS 8 this year and fanboys have been talking on Reddit and voicing their opinions on changes along with talking about how far they think Apple may go this year and what they would and would not like to see.

One of the things pointed was the fact that fans don’t care about how thin Apple make the iPhone 6, or not as the case may be, as long as Apple do something about the battery life. Fans pointed out that the 10 hour estimation was a huge stretch and only possible when restricting the device and using tips and tricks.

Users of the forum did say that a thin iPhone does make the device much easier to hold when using it with one hand, and it looks as though the idea of a phablet iPhone would not go down well with some users. They wouldn’t like to see the display of the iPhone go to 5 inches plus as this would make the iPhone more difficult to fit into the pocket. A display between 3.8 inches and 4.3 inches seems to be what most fans would like to see. Others pointed out that a larger display could see the older generation taking more to the iPhone as the display would be easier to read and this could boost sales for Apple.

When it comes down to iOS 8 users don’t want to see it being stuffed with features that are useless. iOS is also a more enjoyable experience than Android, which some have said looks cheap and rushed. Fans want iOS 7+ to stick with the cutting edge design and tech.

Other users have called for a stylus, more choices for camera options, more accessories, Wi-Fi calling, NFC, stereo speakers and 100& optional themes in the iPhone 6 and iOS 8. What fans don’t want to see in the new iPhone include LED notifications, exchangeable battery or being able to record in 4k.
