It is finally available. Apple iPhone users can now apply the iOS 8.1.1 jailbreak and start enjoying all the amazing apps offered by Cydia. Surprisingly though, the jailbreak is developed by Taig, not Pangu or Evad3rs.
If you are an iPhone user and wish to jailbreak your iOS 8, you can refer to the guide below. However, you are required to have a Windows PC with iTunes installed in order to install the jailbreak.
Before you begin, make sure you have made a backup of your iOS 8.1. Also, both passcode and Find My iPhone will have to be disabled for the installation to take place. Prior to the process, switch your iPhone’s profile to Airplane Mode.
1. Download Taig on your computer and right click the program to run as administrator.
2. Plug in your iPhone to the computer and Taig should identify your device.
3. On the listing that populates the screen, uncheck the second box and hit the giant green button.
4. The device should restart upon completion and upon booting, you will see iOS 8.1.1 jailbreak running the iPhone.
