It is really frustrating to be a One M7 user right now with HTC still pending to roll out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the old smartphone. Well, users now have the option to skip the wait and apply the firmware update manually.
This is possible after a senior developer at XDA launched the Liquid Smooth ROM. The LS ROM contains the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop and it is made specifically for the HTC One M7.
The best part is that the LS ROM offers a stable built of the Lollipop OS with no major issues to worry about. On the downside of things, the LS ROM can only be applied manually and it can be a tedious task for those that are not used to mobile programming.
Then again, if users really want the perfect Lollipop OS, then they should be open about the LS ROM. All users have to do is head over to XDA and download the ROM. There, they will also find a complete installation guide that is simple to follow.
