HTC Nexus Marlin & Sailfish Won’t Be Tailing The Android 7.0 Nougat

When Google releases their new Android operating system, it is usually followed by the release of their Nexus device but it looks like that won’t be happening this year.

Google have already released the new Android 7.0 Nougat but the HTC Nexus devices are nowhere to be found. Instead of a Nexus device, the LG V20 will be arriving as the first device to run on the Android 7.0 Nougat from the box.

According to Android Police, the new Google Nexus Marlin and Nexus Sailfish will only be arriving later this fall when Google releases the Android 7.1 Nougat update. No date have been announced yet but the wait might not be as long as we think it will be.

It has been reported that Google is already testing out the Android 7.1 Nougat right now so they might be ready to release it sooner than we think.
