HTC 10 & HTC One A9 All Set To Get A Bite Of Chewy Nougat

So it is not Nutella after all. Android fans have long speculated that the Android 7.0 N might end up being called Nutella. It felt like it was more than confirm when after Nutella was teased a few times but it looks like Google was just pulling our legs.

Google has now announced that their new Android 7.0 N will be called Nougat and HTC is one of the first smartphone manufacturers to confirm the devices that will be getting the Android 7.0 N update.

HTC posted on Twitter confirming that their HTC 10, HTC One A9 as well as HTC One M9 will all be getting the new Android 7.0 Nougat update. Of course, you might still have to wait a little longer if your device is locked to a carrier. As per usual, the unlock versions will be getting the update first.

How many of you feel that Nutella would have been a better name?
