It has finally happened. Google has rolled out Chromecast for the Android platform. Now, consumers can share the media content on their Android device to their TV set.
All the users have to do is to open up Chromecast and tap on “Cast”. A list of Wi-Fi enabled devices will then populate the screen. There, users can choose their TV and play their media contents there.
It gets easier for Nexus users as they can simply pull down the quick settings menu and select ‘Cast’ from there.
Of course, Chromecast for Android is still very new and has yet to reach out to every Android device. At the moment, the list of devices that has Chromecast support are as below.
