Honda Airbag Problem Grows Bigger

If you think that Honda’s Takata airbag recall is almost over, think again. The automaker has now announced that they will be recalling an additional 21million units of their vehicles.

All recalls will be related to the Takata airbag issue and it will affect vehicles worldwide. Honda did not say how much of those 21million will be from the US so buyers will have to wait and see if they are affected by this new recall or not.

It is believed moisture might be the cause of the exploding airbags. The issue has already caused 13 death in the US and Malaysia. More than 100 people have also been injured by the faulty airbags.

Affected owners will be contacted by Honda soon. Honda has already spent about $4billion to fix the issue and the numbers will most likely go even higher now that they have expanded the recall.
