New reports suggest that Google might be thinking abut dropping the Nexus series this year. It is believed that the new smartphone from Google this year will not be carrying the Nexus name. Is that why they are paying less attention to their Nexus device right now?
Google did announce that the Huawei Nexus 6P will be one of the first to get the Android 7.0 Nougat update but it looks like that might not be happening anytime soon.
According to Vodafone, there might be some issue with the Android 7.0 Nougat. They did not explain the issue but they did say that Huawei is looking into it. It could be the OS but since Huawei is looking into it, the Nexus 6P could be the one with the problem here.
We do not know if this issue is going to affect the arrival of the Android 7.0 Nougat on the other Nexus model. We have not heard fro Huawei or Google yet so we are all still in the dark. Hopefully, somebody will offer us an answer soon.
