Google Makes It Easier For iOS Users To Jump Over

Smartphone manufacturers have made it very easy for users to switch from their older phone to a newer smartphone but only if they are running on the same Operating System. Switching from iOS to Android or the other way around is possibly but the process is pretty tedious. Until now.

Google have their Google Drive an update to make it easier for iOS users to make the switch. In the app, users will now find a new backup feature that will allow the iOS users to save their contacts, calendar events, photos, video and more to Google Drive so that they can retrieve them when they get their new Android smartphone.

The process might be simpler now but it will still take you a few hours if you have a lot of photos and videos that need to be transferred.

Google also updated the Switch to Android website so users can do the same thing from there as well.
