Remember the days when Google smartphone used to be affordable. That was still the case with the Nexus 5X and 6P. There was the premium version but the affordable option was still available.
Google stop doing that when they release the new Pixel smartphone last year and fans are wondering if they are going to bring it back this year. Well, you will be very disappointed to know that the upcoming Google Pixel 2 2ill not be coming with an affordable version.
Google told AndroidPit that the Pixel will stay premium and that there is not going to be a budget Pixel this year. Of course, that does not mean it will never happen in the future but for now, it is clear that Google only wants to focus on the Premium smartphone market.
The new Pixel 2 should be announced this Fall as Google hinted that they will be keeping up with their rhythm.
