GMC Acadia vs Toyota Highlander: Who Should Be Afraid

The GMC Acadia is all about space while the Toyota Highlander is all about options and practically. If you had to pick of the two, which one will it be?

Will it be the Toyota Highlander which comes in with a few engine option including the 2.7 liters inline 4 engine that will be delivering about 185hp and 184lb ft of torque and will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission? There is also the 3.5 liter V6 engine as well as a hybrid option for those looking for a greener model.

Besides coming in with a few engine options, the Toyota Highlander will also be fitted with features like dusk sensing headlights, emergency brake assist, glass breakage sensor and more.

The GMC Acadia, on the other hand, will come in with a 2.5-liter I-4 engine that will be offering about 194hp and 190lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission and will return about 21mpg in the city and 26mpg on the highway.

The Toyota Highlander will also be fitted with an 8inch display screen and a dual skyscape sunroof.

The GMC Acadia will retail for $29,995 while the Toyota Highlander will retail for $40,228.
