Ford Sync 3: Blackberry Takes Microsoft Down

Ford have already started making the transition from the old MyFord Touch to the new Sync 3. In case you do not know, the MyFord Touch was created by Ford with the help of Microsoft while the new Sync 3 was created with the help of Blackberry.

The MyFord Touch was often described as complicated and difficult to use and Ford drivers have been complaining about it for the longest time and now finally after years of having to deal with it, Ford has decided to drop the MyFord Touch.

The new Sync 3, created with the help of Blackberry will be running on the QNX operating system by Blackberry. According to Ford, their goal is to make sure that the new infotainment system is easy to use and understand.

The system will also recognize a few touch screen gesture like pinching to zoom as well as a few other swipe gesture. The Sync 3 infotainment system will be fitted onto all 2016 Ford and Lincoln model.
