We are still trying to understand why taking pictures is such a big thing in the game but it looks like Square Enix does not think that it is enough. According to the latest patch notes, the next update will allow the players to take pictures whenever they want instead of hoping that Prompto got the shot.
The patch notes pointed out that players will not be able to take photographs during battles but any other time is alright. Of course, we don’t think a lot of people will get excited about the update but it is nice to know if you see something really nice and would like to save that, there is a way to do so now.
The update will come with the latest patch which will be released on the 24th of January. What other updates are you excited about?
