Fallout 4 Hits The Bin After Failure In MMORPG Conversion

It has been 4 years since Fallout New Vegas got released and fans are demanding Bethesda to start working on Fallout 4. Unfortunately, the highly anticipated title might not get produced at all after new rumours suggest that Fallout 4 has been discarded by Bethesda.

In detail, the rumour revealed that Bethesda is tired of fighting an obstacle that is preventing them from turning Fallout 4 into an MMORPG. The game developer wishes to completely change the way players play Fallout but was constantly stopped by Fallout’s original creator, Interplay Entertainment.

It is unsure on how the latter is able to cause problems to Bethesda. After all, the game developer has already purchased full ownership for the Fallout franchise. In addition to that, the rumours revealed that the sanction on MMORPG has persisted throughout the year and thus, causing Fallout 4’s production to hit a long delay.

As such, Bethesda has decided that enough is enough and dropped the Fallout franchise entirely. Of course, this is still based on rumours and is best taken with a pinch of salt. Fallout is one of the most successful gaming series and not releasing Fallout 4 will be a major loss on Bethesda’s end.
