Dead Island 2: Sumo Digital Was The Source

We understand that since the game has been passed through so many hands, it will naturally take a little longer for the game to be completed but it does feel like the Dead Island 2 is taking longer to complete and we might know the reason why.

New reports have suggested that instead of taking over the game from the previous developer, Sumo Digital has decided to start developing the game from scratch. That means giving the game a brand new story as well as new mechanics.

We do know if that is true or not but if it is, it will explain why the game is taking so long to complete. Deep Silver has already reassured the fans that the game is still being developed and that they have not given up on it yet but what we would like to know is when the game will be arriving.

At this point, we would be lucky if the game made it out next year.
