Canon EOS 6D vs Nikon D7100: Power vs Value

Canon and Nikon are two of the biggest name in the field of professional photography. The latest EOS 6D has proved itself to be one of the most reliable cameras around. However, is it better than the D7100 camera?

Looking at the sensors, the 6D comes with a 20.2MP CMOS that measures at 23.9. This is so much bigger than the 24.1MP 15.6 CMOS sensor on the D7100.

The 6D also has a super huge ISO that ranges from 50 to 102400. The D7100 has a smaller range of 100 to 25600. Despite that fact, the latter has a much faster shutter speed at 1/8000s. Also, it is able to shoot at 7fps.

Both the 6D and D7100 come with a built-in viewfinder with the former measuring at 3” and the latter at 3.2”. They are also able to record videos in high definition.

Both cameras are really great when it comes to snapping a high quality image. However, it is the Canon EOS 6D that is the slightly better device. Then again, the $1899 price tag is almost twice more than the Nikon D7100.
