BMW Tries Convincing Tesla Model 3 Buyers That Time Is Better Than Range

The Tesla Model 3 is amazing but it is also expensive and has a long waiting period. The upcoming BMW 330e iPerformance PHEV, on the other hand, is equally as expensive. The wait is definitely shorter but so is its range.

BMW fired a shot at Tesla in their latest ad for the BMW 33e iPerformance PHEV. The ad which had a tagline saying “You will wait, and wait and wait some more.” showed a BMW owner walking pass a couple of Tesla Superchargers lookalike to get to her BMW hinting that Tesla Model 3 buyers will have to wait and wait and wait before they can actually get their vehicle. While the jab is kind of funny since they are probably right about the wait, some people think that BMW might have dug a hole for themselves for comparing their EV model with Tesla.

The BMW 330e iPerformance PHEV can only offer about 14miles of electric drive, far less than what the Tesla Model 3 will be offering. If anything, the ad also highlighted how much better Tesla is at creating EV powered model compared to BMW.
