Blackberry has started taking pre-orders for its first Android smartphone, which is the Blackberry PRIV. The smartphone comes with a 5.4-inch display, and has curvy sides to provide a physical keyboard.
Furthermore, the Blackberry PRIV is equipped with a powerful 3, 410 mAh battery, 2-megapixel front camera, 18-megapixel rear camera and a MicroSD slot that can fit up to 2TB of storage. The device also gets an affordable starting price of $699.
Fans may be hoping for the smartphone to get the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Unfortunately, it is not going to happen. The Blackberry PRIV will run the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop instead.
We thought that Blackberry’s glory days are over, but with the arrival of Blackberry PRIV, it seems that Blackberry may still have a spot in the fans’ heart.
