Assassin’s Creed: Not Japan, Not India But Egypt?

Since Ubisoft has decided to take a break from their yearly release of Assassin’s Creed, we have not been hearing much about the franchise this year but now that we are just a few months away from 2017, new rumors about the next Assassin’s Creed game have started surfacing.

One detail that all Assassin’s Creed fans would like to know is where the game will be set in this time around. Some fans were hoping that they would choose Japan this time while other were hoping that the game would be set in India but new rumors are suggesting that the game will be set in Egypt instead or at least that is what a 4Chan user is saying. He also claims that he is an Ubisoft employee.

It is said that the new game will be called Assassin’s Creed Empire and that it will be set in ancient Egypt. There will be a new lead character who was an ex-slave and is now helping the protagonist.

There were also talks about the new game being three times bigger than Black Flag. After the one year break, let’s hope this new game is better than the last few releases.
