Apple Watch Wants To Appeal To Non-Apple Users

In the past, if you want to use the Apple Watch, you have to make sure that you actually have an Apple iPhone to pair it to but it looks like that will no longer be necessary when Apple introduces the new Apple Watch. The only problem is that we do not know when it will be arriving.

According to Bloomberg, the Apple Watch with the cellular connection might not be release this year because Apple is still trying to make it work. It is said that Apple seems to be having some issue with the cellular chips consuming too much battery life.

While the cellular version will take some time to arrive, we can expect to see the new Apple Watch 2 sooner. The upgraded version should come with a few new features including better health-tracking features as well as GPS but like the first model, you will still need to keep your iPhone close to it.
