There are more than a few speculations and rumors about the Apple iPhone 8 and the one that has gotten the most attention is the rumor about the Apple iPhone 8 coming with an OLED curved display screen.
Apple fans thought that Apple is finally ready to adopt the curved display trend but it looks like we might have to wait until next year. According to KGI Securities’s Ming Chi-Kua, Apple has decided not to offer the Apple iPhone 8 with the curved display anymore.
He added that Apple will still be offering the OLED display screen but it won’t be curved. We can still expect the device to sport a 5.8-inch display as well. While it won’t be getting a curved display, it will still come with a new design as well.
Well, after all the hype, it is a little disappointing to hear that the curved screen might not make it. Maybe next year.
