2019 Ford Ranger Takes Advantage Of Tacoma

We know that Toyota is currently struggling to meet the demands of their fans. The Toyota Tacoma production plant is already being pushed to the limit and they are already trying to crank out as many Tacoma’s as they can’t but it still does not seem to be enough.

Toyota has taken steps to improve the condition by investing in their Tijuana plant. The upgrade should help improve the capacity of the plant but will the upgrade happen in time.

While Toyota is scrambling to upgrade their plant in Mexico, Ford is also busy working on their upcoming Ford Ranger. If Toyota still can’t get those Tacoma out fast enough, they might start losing customers to Ford when the Ford arrives.

The current Toyota Tacoma comes in with a 2.7 liter 4 cylinder engine and a 3.5 liter V6 engine. The base model will return about 19mpg in the city and 24mpg on the highway and will retail for $24,120.
