From the response that Toyota got when they announce that the Toyota Supra was going to make a comeback and that they will be working with BMW to make it work. Of course, Toyota and BMW were on the first to get a great response from working together as this method seems to be working for a fair amount of automakers but it looks like all of that did not impress Honda.
When asked if Honda plans to work with any other automaker in the future, Honda made it clear that they would like to stay as an independent automaker for the time being and that they have no plans to work with other in the near future.
While we do respect their decision, it does feel like they might be making the wrong decision. We know that Honda sales have been dropping and them insisting on fighting the battle alone is not going to do any good.
