2018 Subaru WRX STi Sedan Asked To Make Way For Hatch

It is clear that the Subaru WRX STI is not doing as well as it once was. While part of that was because Subaru failed to give the Subaru WRX STi a proper upgrade that it deserve but the market’s lack of interest in sedan also played a role.

It seems like the consumers are more interested in SUVs, Crossovers, and hot hatches right now and performance sedans like the Subaru WRX STi are forced to deal with that.

While Subaru has never indicated that they might work on a new hatch based on the WRX STi model, the fans think that Subaru should. The Subaru WRX STi hatch could come in to compete with models like the Volkswagen Golf R and Ford Focus RS.

What do you think? Do you think Subaru should consider offer a Hatch version of the WRX STi or do you think they should focus more on giving the Subaru WRX STi a proper upgrade?
