2018 Jeep Wrangler: Won’t Have To Wait For One

It seems like FCA is anticipating a major demand for the Jeep Wrangler when the new model arrives. To make sure their customers are not left waiting for the Jeep Wrangler when it arrives, they have decided to invest in their Toledo plant to increase the capacity of the plant.

The current Toledo plant has a capacity of 240,000 yearly and FCA is hoping that by investing in the plant, they will be able to increase the capacity to 450,000. According to the report, FCA will be investing about $700million to make over the plant. They also added that the upgraded plant should create about 700 new jobs.

It is believed that the plant will be producing about 350,000 standard Jeep Wrangler and 100,000 pickup truck based on the Jeep Wrangler.

There were also talks about FCA looking to move the Jeep Wrangler to another plant but this announcement has just confirmed that the Jeep Wrangler will be staying in Toledo.
