Honda was at the Paris Motor Show where they showed off the new Honda Civic Hatchback model but that was not the only vehicle they had on display. Besides the Honda Civic Hatchback model, Honda also showed off a new Honda Civic Type R.
This might be a prototype but most people believe that will be very close to the production model in terms of design. There is no doubt that flashy is what Honda is going for this time but that is the reason why the Honda Civic Type R has such a huge following. It has always been about having a fun drive and turning heads on the road.
Honda did not reveal any new engine details so all we know now is that it will be fitted with a 2.0 liter four cylinder turbocharged engine that should be offering more than the 306hp and 295lb ft of torque that the current model is offering.
The new 2018 Honda Civic Type R should be arriving in the US next year.
