2017 Toyota RAV4 vs Hyundai Tuscon: Safety First

With the Top Safety Pick Plus award and a five-star rating from NHTSA under their belt, it looks like this is going to be another good year for the Hyundai Tuscon. How do you think the Toyota RAV4 will fare against the Hyundai Tuscon?

The Toyota RAV4 will be running on a 2.5-liter engine that will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission. The engine will be delivering about 176hp and 172lb ft of torque and will return about 22mpg in the city and 31mpg on the highway. We are still waiting for Toyota to release the EPA numbers.

The Hyundai Tuscon, on the other hand, will be powered by a 2.0-liter engine that will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission. The vehicle will deliver about 164hp and 151Nm of torque and will return about 23mpg in the city and 31mpg on the highway. The Hyundai Tuscon will retail for $21,866.
