2017 Mazda CX-5: Not Ready To Face New Rivals Yet

We all thought that we were going to see a more premium Mazda CX-5 as there were talks about Mazda working to move some of their models into the premium market including the Mazda CX-5 but it looks like that is not going to happen with the 2017 model.

While the 2017 Mazda CX-5 was given a fair amount of upgrade, it is still far from being the premium model that we were expecting. The 2017 Mazda CX-5 was upgraded in the front and was also fitted with some new tech.

Mazda also announces that the US version will be coming in with a diesel engine option much to the delight of their US fans. We still do not know how much the 2017 Mazda CX-5 will retail for here in the US but what we do know is that the Mazda CX-5 will retail for $20,800 in Japan.

The numbers will most likely change when it enter the US but at least we know that it is not going to come as a premium model just yet/
