2017 Honda Ridgeline Crowned Beside Ford, FCA

The Honda Ridgeline is often made fun of for not being a real truck which is why it was such a nice surprise when the vehicle actually got an award in the TAWA’s Awards.

The awards were given out by the Texas Auto Writers Association and these people are really serious about their truck. While Nissan and Ford seem to be the biggest winner of the night, Honda managed to nab the Best technology award for themselves. The tech that was highlighted was the Honda In-Bed audio system which is offered exclusively on the Honda Ridgeline.

The most prestigious Truck of Texas award was awarded to the 2017 Ford Super Duty truck. The most surprising part of the results was that no GM trucks or CUV won at all.

The 2017 Nissan Armada was awarded the SUV of Texas award while the 2017 Volvo XC90 was awarded the CUV of Texas award.
