2017 Honda CR-V: Won’t Be Looking Like The Pilot

We know that Honda is looking to give the Honda CR-V a huge makeover and while it was speculated that the Honda CR-V could be coming with a new design based on the Honda Pilot, new spies shot seems to reveal that the CR-V is not going to look like the Pilot at all. Instead, its new design will be based on the new and popular Honda Civic.

New spy shots of the Honda CR-V revealed that the Honda CR-V will not only be getting the new Civic grille but it will also be fitted with the new taillight and headlights from the Honda Civic.

It was also reported that the Honda CR-V will be riding on the same platform as the Honda Civic which will allow the CR-V to offer a third-row seat.

There is not a whole lot of details but it has been speculated that the Honda CR-V might be running on a 1.5 liter VTEC Turbo engine or a 2.0 liter VTEC Turbo engine. We should be seeing the Honda CR-V makes its debut at the LA Auto Show later this year.
