It feels like Honda might have just figured out the whole design game. Their Honda Pilot was a hit. The Honda Civic that followed soon after was very well received as well. The next month to receive the makeover should be the 2017 Honda CR-V, so how will the CR-V look like?
It was initially predicted that the Honda CR-V new design will be based on the popular Honda Pilot but it looks like Honda might be looking to give the Honda CR-V a fresh and younger vibe as new report now claims that Honda will be using the Honda Civic design as the base design for the upcoming Honda CR-V.
New spy shots of the Honda CR-V reveal the Civic grille, headlights and taillights. It is also believed that the Honda CR-V will come riding on the Honda Civic platform as well.
Powering the Honda CR-V should be a 1.5 liter VTEC Turbo engine or a 2.0 liter VTEC Turbo engine. The 2017 Honda CR-V should be making its debut at the LA Auto Show later this year.
