2017 Honda CR-V Missing Hybrid Is Costing Them

It does seem like Honda is closing in on the Honda CR-V although it seems unlikely that the 2017 model will be able to take over the RAV4 anytime soon.

While it is true that things have been getting better for Honda and their Honda CR-V, it seems like Toyota still has a slight advantage over them. Unlike the Honda CR-V, the Toyota RAV4 now comes with a hybrid option that did help boost the sales of the Toyota RAV4 model.

According to reports, the arrival of the RAV4 hybrid has helped increase the sales of the Toyota RAV4 by 10%. Many believe that the missing hybrid option on the Honda CR-V might be the reason why the Honda CR-V is still trailing behind the Toyota RAV4.

We don’t think the 2017 Honda CR-V will be getting a hybrid option but there were talks about the 2018 Honda CR-V possibly coming in with a plug-in hybrid option. Should the Toyota RAV4 be afraid?
