2017 Honda CR-V: Civic Looks Won The Fight Against Pilot

Honda has been making some of the best decision they have made in a long time when it comes to the design of some of the models. The Honda Pilot looked great and so does the Honda Civic.

Based on how popular the Honda Pilot was, it was believed that Honda will be using the Pilot design to design the Honda CR-V but it looks like that is not the case. New spy shots of the Honda CR-V made it clear that instead of the Honda Pilot, Honda will be designing the Honda CR-V based on the new Honda Civic.

As much as we like the Honda Pilot, we have no problem with Honda choosing the Civic design for the CR-V. The prototype reveals that Honda will be carrying over the Honda Civic grille, taillight as well as headlights. The vehicle was covered in camo stickers so it is hard to see if the other design features made it over.

The Honda CR-V should also be getting the same Civic engine which will include the 1.5 liter VTEC engine as well as the 2.0 liter VTEC Turbo engine. It is believe that the CR-V will be making its first debut at the LA Auto Show.
