We have already seen some of the upgrades that Ford will be giving the Ford Shelby Mustang model but we still do not know about the changes that they will be making on the 2017 standard model.
What we do know now is that the 2017 model will be coming in with a bigger price tag. The base 2017 Ford Mustang model will now retail for $24,645. The EcoBoost model will come with the same price tag while the Premium will come with a $31,440 price tag.
The GT models will also be getting a price raise as well. We do not know if the price hike means that the Mustang will be coming with more features but we are hoping that that’s the case.
The Ford Mustang has managed to secure the title of top muscle car ever since the new model was released in 2014 and despite being a few years old now, the Mustang is still going strong.
Even with the price hike, we think the Ford Mustang will still continue to lead the Muscle car segment.
