2017 Ford F-150 Raptor Sounds Like It Is Holding Back

We can see why automakers are slowly moving towards turbocharged engines. Not only are they smaller and lighter but the turbocharged engines are also way more fuel efficient. With so may countries now tightening up their emission regulations, going for the turbocharged engine made more sense.

However, that does not mean that the fans are going to be happy with the change. They might be saving more on fuel cost but some fans seem to think that going turbo has ruined the Ford F-150 Raptor.

One of the biggest changes is the way the engine sound on the Ford F-150 Raptor right now. Those that have heard how the turbocharged Ford F-150 Raptor sounded like all commented that the Ford sounded like it was being held back.

While we do agree that it does sound as sweet now, we would still take this engine sound over the fake engine noise that some automakers are feeding their customers right now.
