2017 BMW 5-Series: A Lot More Like 7-Series

We have been seeing bits and pieces of the BMW 5-Series here and there but now we get to see it in all its glory and while we like how the new 2017 BMW 5-Series, there is no denying that the model got a lot of helped from the BMW 7-Series.

The BMW 5-Series will be coming in with new engines. The base model in the US will be powered by a 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine while the 540i will be powered by a 3.0 liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine. The base model will be able to go from 0-60mph in 6 seconds while the six-cylinder model should only need 4.9 seconds.

Just like the 7-Series, the 5-Series model will also come with a hockey stick line as well as the same set of LED adaptive headlights. The kidney grille looks more like the one on the 3-Seires though.

Customer looking to sport things up can get the M Sport package which will come with additional features like an aero kit, exterior upgrades, leather steering on the inside as well as some Performance upgrades that will include a new set of wheels and an upgraded suspension.

The BMW 5-Series will be available in February next year.
